Fantastic little projector... very clear picture at most distances, very easy to set up and It's just plug and play with a Firestick, works well with laptop also using the HDMI connections, the sound is also pretty good for It's size, It's even better with a good quality speaker plugged in, It's also a great sound with headphones... You can use with your mobile, however this requires an additional cable or adapter which is not supplied. I also found a problem with the sound (only when connected to my mobile) it was very distorted, so I switched the volume down on the projector and connected to an external speaker and works perfect... a very good travel projetor great for parties, holidays
I'm not an expert on electronics but this tiny thing works for my family. We occasionally use it to watch movies in a bedroom (we don't have tvs in any of our rooms except the living room). We even tried it during daylight with the blinds closed and we could see the picture pretty well.
I first saw a projector like this quite recently being used to give a talk . It looked like an Apeman but was another make. I checked it out and forgot it instantly because of the price. However, when a canny Scot says they use a mini projector in their camper my ears pricked up. I checked out the Apeman website and studied the beast and together using the discount offered I bought and I am not disappointed. I am amazed what this tiny elegant object can do. Right here goes. Sound is 50% of a film isn't it?. Well the sound is crisp and bright, quite amazing for it's size . I put on my Sennheiser professional headphones to check the quality, now that was good. The projector was propped on the back of the sofa and aimed a darkish corner of the room away from the glare of a brightest afternoon and the hour or so of charged went in a flash. The colour was surprisingly good, the brightness would have been better using a small projector screen and a dimly lit room. Bingo, just what I needed to wile away darker autumn evenings in the camper with my favourite drink in hand.
I sent back two competing versions of a mini-projector and decided to trust the brand. I am rewarded! I use this to teach poetry in a class of veterans, and the ability to have something easy to set up, use, and see is important. I love it so much I had to refrain from taking it on a trip with family just to show off! (A family sailboat is not the best place for it but I thought about it!)
