The H55 is more substantial than he H45 and as easy to use
Though on the H45 you could see at a glance what your settings were
With the H55 you have to open to find out.
day time videos fine
night time videos not quite as sharp as the H45
Still good value for the money

This camera is certainly waterproofed to a good standard - having functioned well throughout and after a sustained downpour. Its way of working is quite intuitive, and the various modes it offers are good. That's what I think after two weeks of use, I hope I'll be as pleased this time next year.
Last year, I had an earlier model which worked very well. Regrettably there was a problem with a worn catch to keep it closed so had to return it for a refund. Not being put off, I bought this model with an improved catch. I have set it up and captured wild life in my garden so I’m happy again. ( This model needs 8xAA batteries, earlier one just 4).
I bought the Apeman H55 trail camera and have loved using it. Easy to set up and I liked the different options of video or photo. Length of video can be set as well as time lapse. The date and time is displayed on the photo/video which is very handy to know what time animals are roaming around. Temperature also displayed. I'll be interested to find out how long the batteries last but I'm extremely pleased with my purchase for looking at my garden wildlife.
